Likes
- The whole environment is pretty nice in the campus. The campus itself is pretty huge and there is so many place where we can sit and relax.
- The teacher are friendly and easiy to approach for most of the times.
- The cafe is also nice and is pretty affordable. It is clean too.
Dislikes
- They have some nonsensical rules in the college. Some of the rules doesn't even make any sense.
- The college doesn't follow a proper schedule and the time table is just for show.
- There is still a problem for many stuffs if a girl and boy sit together and talk.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus and the curriculum is okay. But the teacher do not explain anything or give a proper applicational overviews of things that are being taught. The just open a PPT and just read through it. The syllabus is somewhat easy to learn though.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have a proper Idea about the internship opportunity offered by the college as I have just started the college and not yet know how the things are going to be. But as I see of my seniors there are some Internship opportunities the college offers.
Placement Experience
The college website shows the various placement opportunity the college offers and there are many great opportunities that our seniors got into. about 176 well known IT companies comes to this college for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is pretty affordable, but I don't think it is worth it to join NIITM. First when I applied I had to pay 35000 as 1st semester fee and another 15000 for uniform and other things. Then I had to pay the whole 86000 for the hostel as it is the one year fee.then there is an extra 6000 in 3rd semester for cultural activities
Campus Life
The campus life is good. There is a great environment to learn, relax and enjoy yourself and with friends in the campus. Ther is also many cultural events that are great too. But the are still some issues. Many stuffs in the college is still so nosy if a guy and girl sit together and talks.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is really bad. The rooms are mot good. The food is awful. And the hostel just so unnecessarily strict and restricted. For a PG student there should be a freedom to go out and in of the hostel atleast for a period of time.
Admission
The main reason I joined this college was because of the affordability and the websites of the college show the placement opportunity that are provided by the college that looked really nice. And it is in a area which is more reachable for me.
Faculty
The teachers are friendly and easy to approach. The stuffs in NIITM always acts like a friend and helps when there is a need. But the schedule of whole college is a mess. No proper organisation for the stuffs and is just like going with the flow. It is hectic at time to time. The examination system is also so old style the measures the paper weight more than the contents. It's like if it's a 10 mark question your need minimum of 5-6 pages of answer.
Night Life
The college is in a remote area and is not that great for night life. The travelling expenses is too high too. And also the hostel is so unnecessarily strict. They don't allow students to leave the hostel unless you have a formal letter signed by your tutors and informed by your parents.
