Dislikes
- The boys girls ratio iss almost 65:35 in our university as asked
- while the library is well equipped it could be expanded to digital resources making online access to students
- The quality of food in hostel mess is not upto that level
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is relevant,one subject from our own field AI such as soft computing,data analytics,machine learning ,and one subject for the hardware or database related such as os,dbms and one or two subjects of mathematics.In this way each semester fulfills the need of our training for the placement.
Internships Opportunities
The internship oppportunity starts after third year means in the sixth semester and every student is interned within the last year ,after getting interned student need not to give exams just focus on the company's training and work.
Placement Experience
Chitkara offers internship to every student ,companies apply a condition in that process students should have a cgpa more than 8 and there should be no reappear in any exam after fullfing these two conditions student can apply for the interview and it depends on students skill what package he/she is offered
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 1250000 for per semester for my batch 2023 and for our juniors of 2024 batch the fees is 1500000 per semester means I pay 2.5 lac per year for my course and the fees is stable for four years and for the upcoming batches after every year the fees is scaled up to 50 k more every year
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is average ,the rooms are fine but the food quality in the mess is not upto the mark and students face issue their which is the most wanted faciltity and the laundary facility also is average ,clothes are not washed properly .
Admission
The admission process is both based upon the 12 th pcm results and the JEE examination .As I was not able to crack my jee exam ,after the nits and iits ,I will prefer Chitkara University because of the placement ,enterpreneur , research opportunities
Faculty
The semester is divided into ST exams mean the internal and the ETE (End Term Examination) 40 percent weightage for the STs and 60 percent to the ETEs .We have around 6-7 subjects per subjects giving us 22-24 credits per semester .
Night Life
There is a gym for boys and girls ,variety of food outlets such as dominos,venky's,chai nagri,lapinoz etc.Students can roam around the campus till 12 in the night and if they have to go outside the campus ,Hostellers have to get their gatepass approved from wardens and for dayschollars from the mentors if they have to go before 3 pm in the afternoon
