Course Curriculum Overview

3

In a semester every 2 months once we have a exams going on. The internals are for 1 and a half hour and the external exam is for 3 hours. We are thought with all the real world examples and scenario's and we have really good labs to practice what ever we have learnt in the class

Internships Opportunities

4

There are a lot of companies which offer you a job or an internship opportunity. We have companies like IBM, TCS, Accenture etc coming to the campus for placements and internships. We have a total of 20+ companies coming for the placements and internships. We keep getting many sort of projects to do in all our semesters by the faculty itself and they encourage us to do more on our own

Placement Experience

4

We have a really good placements team here who are working really hard for getting us placed in the best companies out in the market. The average package here is 700000 and this might vary every year. Every student gets placed apart from the once who have backlog and all

Fees and Financial Aid

I have written a test called revacet which helped me get a scholarship of 50000 my fee per year is 450000 excluding the scholarship so including scholarship it is 400000 it might vary depending on the demand and the course opted

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure in the campus is the best with a lot of greenery due to which we get to breathe fresh air all the time inside the campus. There are a lot of clubs to be a part of depending on our interests. I feel we have the best library out of all other universities because there all the books available which are required for us and there team is constantly updating there inventory based on our requirements

Hostel Facilities

3

We have 1,2,3 and 4 sharing in hostel and the price varies depending on what you have opted. I currently reside in the hostel itself in 3 sharing and have no such complaints. It's just that the fee is bit on the higher side. Food in the mess in decent and healthy and quality of food is really good

Admission

I tried to apply for PES university, Jain university and Manipal university I couldn't join PES because it was very expensive for me and Jain had not that great placements and coming to Manipal while applying I have entered my details incorrect by mistake which became a problem and led me in not joining it

Faculty

3

Almost all the faculties here have a PHD so there isn't any sort of issues with them. Coming to the examination we have 2 internal exams and 1 external exam which is considered as the final exam in every semester

Night Life

4

We have a gym inside the campus itself which can be accessed by the people who have taken the membership of the gym. We have a huge food court inside the campus itself with a lot of restaurants to choose from. Girls inside the campus are allowed to walk around till 9 in the night and later on they aren't permitted out of the hostel and for boys there is no such restrictions

Other Applied Colleges

PES University - [PESU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Very expensive

Jain University - [JU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

In UVCE placement rate is almost good but we need more effort on self study . Most of the students works in internship in 7 or 8 th sem it means before graduation then they will got good placements. Some of you directly god good placements without working in internship.. Because putting there efforts..
