Course Curriculum Overview

5

I personally like coding and I'm very proficient in it that made me choose this course and department. This curriculum is very helpful for anyone who wants to diligently working in IT sector in the future, Teachers should relax the classes a bit they are always rushing to complete the syllabus, Exams like internals are conducted after one and half month of a semester start and after another two months second internals is conducted after that another month gap and semester end exams are held accordingly to university calendar

Placement Experience

4

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Totally more than 100 companies come to our college and placement rate is 97. Highest package is 26lpa and lowest is 3lpa 97% students are placed. I plan to work on IT sector

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee - 111384 Tution fee - 12000 Cet fee -98984 respect to general seat No lab fee All category same fees after 1st year Scholarships available- SSP, NSP, sitaram jindal, leela poonavala, Colgate scholarships, SBI bank scholarship etc

Campus Life

5

Annual fest is known as Samskruthi and it is usually held in March,it is conducted a month long and final fest is three days with first day being inter college competition and second day a concert and third day a dj night. Everything is available in library Smart tv projector. Clubs are there

Hostel Facilities

4

Fan,bed, study table, chair, attached bathroom. Meal quality is excellent. Hostel is affordable compared to other colleges in Bangalore, there is a separate office for hostel registration they guide you. Hostel

Admission

I was selected for CMRIT and TJohn college of engineering for same course but finally decided to choose east point due to its reputation accross banglore, Since I'm excellent performer in academics i haven't faced rejection but this college is my personal choice. Management quota requires you to be a 12th passed out, and there is no specific university entrance exam but there is state university entrance exam which is CET through which you get a great fees redemption it's almost quater price of management quota and I'm a CET entry.

Faculty

5

Faculties are very approachable and rarely gets irritated, the faculty I personally prefer in our CSE department is prof.Rashmi mam who is also my mentor she is a great guide and helps me build up my skills and insights, There's no one I hate so far. Each semester has two internals and one semester end exam also lab internals,80 percentage of people pass everything remaining twenty may have one or two backlogs , course curriculum is very good and suitable for skill based learning

Interview Experience

5

No I didn't face any interview till now but group discussion takes place every now and then most of them revolve around course content and topics and rarely on general topics like current affairs, other criteria for admissions are state entrance exams and COMEDK

Night Life

5

All the facilities are available are closed for public in 6 o'clock evening. Hostel is closed after 6:30 in evening it's ok to be a little late We have many hangout places our favourite is college canteen

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
