Course Curriculum Overview
Our mbbs curriculum provide wide range of practical also with study. In mbbs curriculum labs, cadaver,and peoples also available for the practice. In mbbs curriculum lots of lag books and journals are written by the students which have no means. So I think there should be change.
Internships Opportunities
The internship program provides collage it self. Collage is attached by the guru govind singh hospital,jamnagar.so this hospital provides internships program.the internship program is for the 12 months and the collage gives stipend also.
Placement Experience
In mbbs course there are less chance for the direct placement from the campus in the private hospital. But from the collage after internship program student can give neet pg exam for further study and can give exam for medical officer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The collage fee is 25000rupay/ year. If we choose hostel also then 1500 rupay/year applied. Library fee and other fee are also included. After all fee including total is aprox 27500 rupay/year. 2 types of scholarships provide our collage 1.2500 rupay month for selected student and this amount is given by department in cash. 2.25000rupay per year to selected students.
Campus Life
The only festival is celebrated in this collage is 'Navratri garba program '. Anual program 'Ecstasy' is celebrated in the collage for a week which include sports programs,dance,wall painting etc. Sports facilities are very poor in this collage. Some students runs social media channels.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel bed is given by the collage. Light,fanand table are also given by the collage. Food is the best in MP shah in comparison of any medical collage of india. Hostel fee is just 1500 pre year and for registration there is a very simple process.
Admission
MP shah medical college is one of the old collage of india. I also applied for the AIIMS collages but my rank was above the 10000 so I was rejected. It is a state collage so there is reservation for the state counciling is 85% and for the all India counciling is 15% only.
Faculty
Faculty of mp shah collage is very supportive. No one students fails the internal exam of the collage. Faculty allow to all students for the university exam. Two papers are held of each subject.each question paper considers 100 marks and the practical exam also concluded 100 marks. So total exam is held for the 300 marks for each subject. The marks are required in 60:40 or 40:60 in practical exam and theory exam for the pass out. Per year almost 60 to 70 student get suply in the university exam in which 4-6 students get year back.
Interview Experience
Is have faced only neet ug exam for the addmission in this collage. There are no gd and interview are taken by the collage. I take the addmission in the coaching for preparation for the neet ug exam. This exam have one offline paper of 720 marks.
Night Life
The collage campus is separated from the citizens so it is safe fir the students.except the 1st year students all student can go out side the campus at the night. Bike riding in the jamnagar at night and chilling at the Lakota lake is preferred by the students.
