My views on GAT

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, effectively blending theory with practical skills. On campus internships are really rare in our college so there's very less info on that. I suggest you find an internship in your own during 3rd or 4th year. Work on projects and post them on LinkedIn for proper exposure that'll fetch you opportunities

The placements this year were fairly less and when it comes to it they do NOT promise a 100% The placements are always dependent on YOU and your SKILLSET only and the package you get is reflected by this. There are a fair number of companies which visit and it's mostly mass recruiters. If you don't get placed you can still try off campus

The fees I paid during my first year is 284000 but now it's only 264000 for people who enter through the comedk quota. And as of scholarships I don't think the college provides any. I have some batchmates who also post 4-5lakh an year as they've come through the management quota. As of now the comedk fees has decreased to around 240000 and CET remains around 1.5lakh whereas management quota fees have increased

The events in our college SUCK there are no proper events as compared to other colleges like BMS or PES even if we do have it's a boring one. We do have a fest once a year and that's a 6.57/10 The library I've been to like 5 times and there are a lot of books. They claim free Wi-Fi but you don't get to use them , the labs have computers with outdated hardware which makes them real slow only the AIML lab has gaming specs lmao. There's a good number of sports events which happen. And the student clubs are just a waste of time according to me as the current seniors are not that idealistic

As my comedk rank was around 25k and most colleges in this area were under VTU I wanted an autonomous college and GAT was the one If you wanna get into the CSE branch a comedk rank between 20-35k would do Our college accepts CET AND COMEDK I got ISE at SJBIT and CSE at DBIT and I still chose this over those colleges as GAT is autonomous

There are enough faculties for everything but the interaction and way some inculcate in teaching is bad and I guess that's a huge con but they'll be available outside the classroom and be open to teach The will be 3 internals and one sem end exam every semester The 3 internals can be cleared easily and sem end is fairly hard
