Course Curriculum Overview

I feel like the curriculum is good but the syllabus I feel like some subjects which are to be learnt in 1st or 2nd year are being kept in final year.I say all the subjects should be completed till 3rd year and final year should be completely focused on only placements .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides many internships which are to be paid but that costs hight which I feel they are not worthy.I suggest the internships from NITs or AICTE portal and our college provided internship in CIsco networking academy with a fees of rupees 1000 related to cybersecurity domain.

Placement Experience

Yeah...We have a good campus placement opportunities but that thing is we are unable to score well due to the involvement of academics like labs, assignments projects.So I can say complete practice on coding and aptitude gives good result in upcoming days.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 97,360 every year .But our college. Fee is 125000 and I get a reaimbursment of 35000 .In 97360 it includes 90000 as college fees and 7360 include library fees and lab fees.For SC/ST government will provide 1,25,000 reaimbursment and they just need to pay 7360

Campus Life

Our college conducts sports,NCC activities,NSS activities,technical events and blood donation camps but onlyy cultural themes are not so encouraged which are even important.But in our campus there is full security to the students and equality among the students which is very important.

Admission

Our college provides better facilities but when compared to other colleges what I feel is our college involves veryy less in cultural events which are even necessary for refreshment and stress relief.When comes to cut off it differs for every reservation.

Faculty

I would give 10/10 rating to few of our faculty whoo teaches veryy well and they have more knowledge and skills and a lot of experience so I can sayy our college is providing the best faculty in some cases and when comes to the academics I feel college is mostly worrying about academics than placements.

Interview Experience

Yes..I have attended group discussions in our academic subject which is soft skills development and interview to a company and many mock interviews conducted by our college and the trainers from outside.

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

the main reason for me to choose this college is that it is nearer to my house comparing my college on different parameters which I applied for are distance to travel and it seems the best in my town the reason why I was unable to make it into top most of the colleges is that I haven't studied up to the mark the admission process is simple you must have to qualify ts eamcet and then apply for counseling then cross-check with the previous years rankings relevant to the college and apply to the course.
