Course Curriculum Overview

3

I believe the course curriculum is more relevant here than any other colleges, maybe even iit nit though i don't know their syllabus entirely. The frequency of exams is a lot and difficulty slowly increases as you proceed in a semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

They provide in campus internship for third year students and a lot of biig name companies can be seen. The college also have MoU's with some big companies like Mercedes so even lower branches students can get some big internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

4

The campus placements for top branches are good reaching upto 20 lakh average for ai/ml. And for the lower branches it is better to choose a government college instead of this, but are good compared to some other private colleges. The aerospace deparment also provides a lot of facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The years fees that I will pay is 281477 + around 30k more for first year(COMEDK). If you are coming from KCET its very less that is 1 lakh 7000 per year. Regarding scholarships, as of now i don't know any for general category but you can opt for any private or government scholarship.

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of clubs to choose from. All are good and you will be overwhelmed but it is recommed to join max of two clubs since there is maybe more academic here than other colleges. Even after that you get a lot of time to explore your interests with other things going on.

Admission

For me, I joined this college because i couldn't clear jee and then the next best option without taking a drop was this, so i took it. For admission there are in general 3 ways that are through KCET, COMEDK or management quoata thoufgh through MQ the fees is too much for example 60lakh for 4 year for cse core. Karnataka students obviously generally prefer KCET but some come through COMEDK as well. You will find very few COMEDK people here.

Faculty

4

The faculty is good with some exceptions of course. Total 2 internals are taken with one improvement Internal. Then at end of semester final exam is conducted. Internal marks are also counted. The difficulty generally increases and the exams come.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. The college invites companies from IT services, startups, and core technology domains. Some of the companies that usually visit include mid-level software firms and service-based companies, offering roles such as software developer, machine learner and testing engineer. The highest package offered recently was around 10 LPA and the average package is about 5 LPA. Nearly 60–70% of students get placed every year. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a job in the IT or AI field and later pursue higher studies.

I'm not sure but maybe from 6th semester you can apply for placements which requires 6.75cgpa minimum. highest it went like 34lps last year and average was like 5.5lpa. Around 70% are getting placed. Don't really have much knowledge about placements. My plan is to apply for campus placemnets but also try off campus.

Placments are average, company comes, but they do not hire more people, the interview process is very difficult even for companies offering a package of 4.5LPA, not many companies come, even if they come competiiton is very high, so please upskill yourselves, and learn all that is required for placements even if it is difficult or getting a job is very tuff unless you have influence to get into comapnies through relatives or your parent's friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is good but not updated and up the mark according to todays standards as again the course only prioritizes students to score well but not to stand out in the open to face the real world scenarios. well every area needs improvement as they need to start letting the students to work on practical solutions like coding assignments than write question answers. Exams are once a month, and its peaceful.
