Sinhgad college of engineering provides defer of engineering by savitribai Phule Pune University.A nice social life is to be observed here.Extra curriculum activities mainly acting and drama are very active here.

Sinhgad college of engineering,pune follows the course criteria provided by savitribai Phule Pune University and provides engineering degree in all branches which includes computer, IT, civil, mechanical, production etc.

Placement alumni here is strongly active as the placement of all colleges under occur here. The highest package is 18 lakh and average package given is 4.5 lakh.Also the placement alumni claim 100% placement for eligible.

College Events

A very famous called as karandak is conducted here annually in which famous celebrities came along with DJ and edm night. Other than this carnival also occur here in which dance and singing along with acts are performed

The fees of sinhgad college of engineering is around one lakh twenty thousand annually excluding hostel facilities and mess facility. If you opted for hostel and mess facility you have to pay 65000 extra.

Talking friendly, sinhgad college is famous for it's extracurricular activities like drama, acting, dancing. Also a fest called as Karandak it's very famous here. Also the sports facilities including jym , swimming pool, are available here.

Senior in sinhgad college of engineering are little helping in nature.Alumni here is very active . Since placement of all STES's society is in our campus, the alumni cell is very active here. Placement starts at the end of third year.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

The placements are guarentee to 90% of the students in our college The placement depends on the exam you fill form for and then if they select you or not Every year there are placement drives that happen throughout the year for 4th year students students are filtered in 3 rounds first a general tech plus aptitude round second a tech viva round and third the final interview

My course actually good in the future aspects and my college is affiliated with pune university so relevancy is good .the syllabus prepares us well in terms of the curriculum . But sometime the college is not finished with the syllabus and it can sometimes challenging for the students

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. I choose Sinhgad College of Engineering because, The "Sinhgad" brand is well-established in Pune. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there. And most important I allotted Sinhgad College of Engineering through MHT CET CAP round. It means I am eligible for getting scholarships as SEBC student.
