Likes
- The teachers are very supportive in nature. Overall the community is very supportive which I liked about my college
- The library is well maintained and everyone follows discipline in library
- As I am BCA student, computer labs are taken in regular basis for 1.5 to 2 hours which I liked about my college
Dislikes
- Toilets are not cleaned I have to go outside the college to the nearest hospital so that I can do toilet
- Canteen is very small and unhygienic . And there are only two to three water coolers and the taste of water is very bad. again I have to go outside my college to drink water in the hospital which is near by my college
- Third thing I disliked is that students fights to much. there is fight between boys every day.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a fresher I couldn't rate the course curriculum but I want to suggest the area of improvement that my college should do. So I want to suggest that they should use digital method of teaching like smart boards instead of green Board or black board. Because it gets interactive while studying digitally by the smart boards.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the programme fee is 8310rupees and the tution fees is 360 rupees per year. And the complete course fees will be around 25-30k. Scholarship is for only reservation students. They have to score more then 8CGPA then they will get the scholarship but I don't know the amount of scholarship because I am fresher right now so I don't have that much information
Campus Life
Honestly I have been having almost two months while I am going to this college there is not any freshers party till now. I liked the library because there are every types of books for every department like computer science, commerce etc. Other then study material there are many religious books of almost every religion. And the classrooms are not well maintained. There is no sports activities held till now.
Admission
So I have given the CUET examination for Delhi University in which I opted to get admission in BSC hons. Computer science, due to low score I didn't get admission on Delhi University so I decided to take admission in dronacharya government college because I don't have any choice left. I couldn't go to private college as I am from middle class family, they cannot afford the expenses of private college. Admission process of dronacharya government college is that you have to register in "higher education haryana" website then you have to submit all the academic documents like 10th or 12th result and some government documents like adhar card then they release the merit list according to the percentage the students got in 12th and according to their reservation.
Faculty
So the faculty members are very good and supportive in nature. But one teacher I didn't like because she takes too much holiday. Talking about my course structure I am in first semester and I have 4 subjets in which three subjects are core subjects and one is minor subjects and every subject is of 100 marks and three subjects are in which theory marks are of 50 and practical and labs marks are 50
