Faculty members are very good and supportive
lush green campus away from the hustle of daily life in the foothills of shivalik
Higher authorities like Chancellor of University often take meetings and understand students problem

Dislikes

weather is very hot in summer and too cold in winter
there are some sessions which are just waste of time
as it is in hilly area, sometimes snakes like python come onthe street

Course Curriculum Overview

Cource Curriculum is very fine ,, it is splited in to 2.5 + 1.5 year where we study 2.5 year in college and 1.5 years for practical work in industries with paid internship,, IBM is the anchor partner and IBM certified teachers take session for 7 days atleast in each subject

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

? 150000(including all charges of academics)per anum, scholarship provided on the above 80%, no compensation as per category,,single parent student get scholarship, All students can access various state level scholarship or NSP .

Campus Life

Yuva Kaushal is a technical fest in which student from various colleges participate every year ,,there are so many events in Yuva Kaushal like hackathons,Code rush,code debugging,,real life problem solution and many more.. fir extra curricular activities there are so many cultures fest like teeja da tyohar,,talent hunt classes etc

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are spacious,twin sharing and triple sharing rooms are provided, separate tables and chairs for each student in Hostel,, wifi,24*7 electricity and water (sometimes due to power cut problem arises) Food is Avarage obviously not like as at home,

Admission

I scored 94 percentile and also have opportunities to take admission in government collegea,,but I have choosen this course because of its curriculum that is 2.5 year for theoretical knowledge to complete credits as per ugc norms and 1.5 year in industries fir hand on experience, Direct Admission is on the basis of jee mains or cuet percentile ,,or they may take IBM entrance test as well

Faculty

All Faculty members are good and supportive, Exam pattern is -there are MST 1and MST 2 before end term examinations and avg of both mst and assignments quizes,viva, presentation marks calculated our of 50 marks and external end term examination is of 50 so overall 100 marks per subject

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

My Honest Experience at DAVIET

Placement Experience:

In btech form the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. the highest placement is for 70,00,000 Lpa in btech. students of MBA also hold chances for placements. The placements are not in big 4 but still in genuine and great companies.

As I mentioned this college is new and they have no past data to show about their placement but they have good tie up with some of the giants of industry including IBM and when their SME comes to provide lectures ut really boosts your energy and motivation. Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

Good inetrship provided in any college for students

Placement Experience:

i can talk about college placement till now in my college, as far as i have seen, placement start after the 2nd year of BCA and 3rd year of B.tech, but first there is atest and interview. if the one who gets good marks in the paper will be selected for the next interview, otherwise he will not be selected. in my college, B.tech students get more placement because the get intership in ther last semester, though which they get placements too. till now, B.tech students have been able to placement and otherwise Bca students have did not place by college placement you will own search by non-campus placement

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

I preferred this university due to its course structure of 3+1 year which is 3 year of study and one year of internship. Also the strength of students in this university is not very much as its a new university and they don't spend much on their publicity the students who have come here is only from mouth to mouth publicity and few are through social media . Before I got to know about this university I also applied for other universities but when I got to know about this university then I cancelled my applications from other universities.
