Academics is excellent. Faculties are always available.
Infrastructure of the campus is best as compared to any medical college of Bihar.
Hospital equipments are advanced. Hygiene is maintain all around the campus.

Dislikes

Hostel is not available for 1st year MBBS students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I personally want to choose this stream because in this stream one can help people at the grassroot level. For each chapter /unit there is different faculty Faculty qualifications are either MD/MS Or DM/Mch Terms exams is according to the schedule provided at the time of admission Bit though to pass but with dedication and presence in the class one can pass easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is bit more as compared to other medical colleges of bihar. But IGIMS provides quality education, it has advanced technology for treatment, it's own Cancer Institute. Scholarship such as NSP etc

Campus Life

Annual fest - Aaveg / Celebraxia conducted in the month of June /October Almost each and every medical books are available in the library. Classrooms have AC, Fans well smart boards. Sports and Extracurricular activities includes football, cricket, badminton, chess ,carrom, Volleyball, Basketball etc Social group - IGIMS Students. The DUGOUT

Hostel Facilities

Following facilities provided in the hostel room *Bed *Table *Chair *Study lamp *Almirah Meal quality is good. A form have to submit in the student section of academic building for hostel registration. Pillar no 54

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBBS because I always wanted to study medicine. There are 125 students in our batch and almost 8-10 professors in each department, so that amounts to about 1 professor for every 12.5 student for each department. Teaching is very practical based and we get enough hands on experience. Exams are always held on time but they aren't hard to pass, consistent studies will be helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

At first, from class 10, I was determined to become a Doctor. And for this, I chose this MBBS degree course which is of 5 and half years duration. Now, NMCH, Patna truly speaking is not among the well-known colleges in Bihar or other States, as PMCH and IGIMS. Having situated in a new city area and having its Hospital 3km away from the College campus makes it a little less famous than others. But now, after spending a year in it, I get to know and accomplish this through so many highly qualified Professors and HOD. In 1st year I had to study 3 subjects Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry. The professors taught these subjects to us very nicely. Especially those in Anatomy were very good. A major drawback was that we were provided with only one cadaver in the Dissection Hall, but now after our batch 3-4, cadavers are being provided. So overall NMCH holds helpful and strong faculty services.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Term exams were held timely but results were not published timely. If students study regularly then it is easy to pass the term exam but if they are not serious about their studies and think that they can pass by studying one night before the exam then it is hard to pass.

Course curriculum is based on what prescribed by tha medical council of India and faculty is superb they are very helping in nature and you will feel better after attending the classes regularly and if you have any doubts you can ask anytime to any faculty professor without any hesitation they will surely help you. I choose this course because I want to become a physician The faculty and students ratio is completely balance and very satisfied Undoubtedly this is a professional course then their qualifications will be upto the marks and teaching methods is also amzing and you will enjoy if you show interest otherwise bery boring to learn Term exam often happen within 6 month sometimes it's late and final exam after the year completion If you study from the beginning not so much difficult to pass but syllabus is so vast so you have to precise for study. If you are sincere then it will become easy to pass the exam

From All india counseling i get AIIMS deoghar but then result of state counseling came and i had been allotted IGIMS patna I choose IGIMS patna over AIIMS deoghar because IGIMS is well established hospital of bihar and have very good infrastructure and facilities are also experienced At that time AIIMS deoghar was not that established and infrastructure is not built at that time and because of new college i prefer IGIMS patna which is old college of bihar with lots of patients load You can get addmission in IGIMS from Neet UG cutoff in AIQ is around 5000 rank...Read More

I got 6900 rank in neet UG and I had to stay in patna because my home is just 30 min from here so for AIIMS another exam were conducted in 2019 and I got 4200 rank in that but I fell too short for getting in AIIMS patna and apart from that in patna igims Is best in academics and patients treatment and overall non toxic environment.
