Life at Saveetha School of Engineering

The teaching methods are quite common like other colleges. They use to have presentations and seminars. I mainly joined here because we can complete the engineering studies within 3 years and go for intern.

Cognizant, Amazon, Microsoft,etc.. like companies are providing internship to this college with stipend. We should complete atleast one nptel exam to get the degree certificate from the college or they won't provide. We should score credits. We start doing mini projects from 1st year.

After completion of all the subjects without any withheld students are eligible for placement. Wipro, cognizant, Amazon , Flipkart, etc.. companies are recruiting students from saveetha school of engineering. But the package is quite low around 12LPA. Almost 90% students will get placed in companies. I had a plan to do higher studies after completion of degree.

The total fee per year for the college is 3.7LPA but according to the 12th percentage the fees is different from person to person. But the college management will be charging material fees and uniform fees seperately. No scholarships are provided since it is a deemed University. The admissions are totally based on only 12th percentage not based on caste.

Various events will be occuring throughout the year. Maximum price for the registration will be around 300 rupees. Lab facility is available and Library facilities are available. Smart TV as smart board is available in every classrooms . Sports and extracurricular activities are held . Various clubs are going on throughout the year.

One cart and one study table will be provided for each student. No mess food will be provided and we should buy everytime in canteens so that food app will be provided in which we should add money and spend. Registration will be done on the day of addmission for hostel. The hostel fees for 1st year including foodapp will be around 1 lakh.

Compared to other colleges in Chennai Saveetha school of engineering is quite worth for ambiance and students can enjoy their freedom. Campus is soo large. We can have all the facilities inside the campus. Soo many events are conducted eventually.

Here the exams are not held according to semester wise but the course completion will be done one by one. So we can complete the courses within expected time. Few faculties will be very strict and they are not even ready to listen to students. But the faculties are quite helpful in everything.

No, I didn't attend any test to take admission here. We just need to have good percentage at physics, maths and chemistry for persuing admission here and according to that the fees will be reduced .
