Review of SKASC

I chose this course as it is directly tied up with TCS. I wanted to join TCS as it aligns with my career objectives. The curriculum is very real life oriented which helps students help cope in the competitive field. The exams are comparatively easy and the exams are done at the last with students getting plenty of time to learn.

There are many companies coming to attract students to gain workers for their company. There is a company called souther land which comes during the 3rd semester to attract students. The stipend is 16,000k per month if the students doesn't take any leaves. If the student takes leave, the stipend is 13,000 per month. The students has to complete an internship after the 4th semester .

The placements are very great. it is one of the plus points of this college. The students see eligible for placements in the 4th semester. There are a lot of complained visiting for placements. Companies like TCS, MCDONALDS, SOUTHER LAND, MICROSOFT ETC. Almost all the students without any backlogs get placed. My plans after the degree is to get placed and work.

The total fees is 300000 for the entire semesters. With 49000 coming as semester fees which has to be paid during each the semesters. There was a fee of 9000 as admission fees to gain admission. There is a fee of 10000 in the 4th semester as placement fees.

There are no cultural programs or events in the college. So it gets boring. But the campus life isn't that bad because of the friends I've made in college. There are a lot of books available in the college library as It is very big with almost all kinds of books available there. Not much importance isnt given to extracurricular activities and sports as the college is very studious. There is an NCC, NSS and rotract club. And many dance clubs and music clubs.

The hostel isn't that nice, it is not worth it. The hostel mesh isn't that great, i dropped out of hostel as it is overpriced. The hostel room is 6 sharing with a bed given. There is a cupboard given for students to keep their belongings. The bathroom is Indian based so it is a downside. The students has to pay a lump fee of 110000 as hostel fees as a whole to gain hostel admission. There are many pg's and houses available near to college so the students can use them.

I chose this college because of the infrastructure. I liked the infrastructure a lot so wanted to pursue my degree here. I applied PSGCAS but didn't wait for the application process to complete so joined here. The admission process was easy, I had to provide the relevant documents and pay a fee of 9000 to gain admission.

There are many faculties in all the departments with faculties specialised for each department The faculties are changed in each the semesters with most of their subjects getting shuffled. The faculties are very knowledgeable and qualified. There are 2 internal exams before the semester exams. The semester exam is at the last with the exams being liberal as the college is autonomous.
