Hnbgu everything you need to know before coming

Hnbgu is in middle of mountain lot of places to go environment is very beautiful the college is one of the best the curriculum is above average practical skills need more work and students need to attend more classes they are all average minded classes are only 4 hours a day exams are not thr frequently taken mainly in the end of semester and are easy to pass with one night worth of study

Interships are jot available you can visit students welfare for help for outside interships and projects are helped by teachers many patents have been filled by hnbgu students but not everyone is above and beyond that thinking

Employment opportunities are non existent you hve to apply yourself many startups offer 20k/month that is all you have to apply yourself and get into something highest package was 7.5lpa and average in 3.5lpa not many students get placement after degree i plan to more abroad that is the best way to be paid good

Yhe fees is 29170 for first semster and 22000 approx for second semester majority is refundable but 5% around is not. Fees is same for all it is a central university hence not expensive this includes everything scholarships are not given by college only national scholarship are available which you can apply no support from college seniors do help hostels are not available for all that you should keep in mind alloted based on 12th grade marks and that to is subjected to reservation food is paid separately based on hostel fees are paid on semester basis to keep load off your parents

To main fest take place tat is all no cultural activities take place that are big. All kind of books are available and students get free books from college no need to spend money there facilities are top class no doubt social clubs are non existent

Hostels are not alloted to everyone they are alloted to a few students on basis of 12th marks and are cheap quality but remt is also 5000/year the food is just average 3300 is the average of all hostel mess fees pgs are easily available and so are room they are not hard to find you can ask any local they are very helpful

The environment the ratio and the place is close to Rishikesh and all easy to go and play the students have free time to learn things and practice stuff i was selected in central university of punjab but i left as it was just average and in middle of nowhere you have give cuet and score 300 marks in pcb out of 600 to get admission into hnbgu

Facult are sort of approachable you have to br consistent ask again and again never speak in off tone are helpful in general if you call they pick up calls and answer politely good ratio 4:20 my HOD and asst. Professor ram sahu are amazing really helpful but politics is a bad part of college that affects all of us exams are not that hard to fail you have to be exceptionally dumb that is not possible otherwise
