Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was as per the SPPU norms. There were additional exams and tests which were provided by the college. The curriculum helped a students understand the basic concepts of commerce and upgraded every year with increasing difficulty
Placement Experience
From sem 5 students are eligible for placements which is third year of college. The placements are amazing companies like eclerx, northern trust, credit suisse, wipro visited the campus. The highest package in my batch was around 5 LPA and almost 99% of the students who wanted placements got it. I am currently working with Credit Suisse after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees was Rs 180000/- for 3 years which is 60k for 1 year plus the exam form fees and extra curricular activity fees. The college has now become autonomous and the fees might have increased from 60k to 70-80k for a year.
Campus Life
There is an annual event called gusto which is the heart of the happiness pf events. Other induction events are arranged for ice breaking sessions. The library is amazing and has a wide variety of books available. There are sports and other activities and students are offered to join respective teams as per their interests.
Admission
The college was nearby and I applied to this college and got the admission in the first merit list itself . I was trying to opt for Jai hind mumbai college but location was an issue. I didn't apply to any other college as I got admission here and Indira college's reputation is amazing. The placements are also amazing. The admission process is through an Entrance exam along with the average of your 12th marks. The admission process is to be completed 2 days after the merit list gets issued.
Faculty
The factulty members were amazing they were helpful throughout the HOD is an amazing person and helped everyone be it personal problem or something related to college. The HOD was and is still currently Thomson Sir he is a gem of a person. There were no faculties as auch which I didn't like. There were 6 semesters and the subjects changed every semester. Some 10% of the students got back log and the curriculum is amazing.
