Located in outskirts of Mysore road travelling time is high
Placements are moderate no core companiss visiting
Cafeteria hads less food options than many other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

Primary goal of the course is to facilitate engineers for better knowledge. The curriculum by university is well designed. It gives us an overall exposure not restricting to only core branch subjects. Teachers can be more friendly and helpful to ease out.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is pretty descent with good approachable faculties. Has a very active alumni network helping out in everything. It also has cultural club, nss, ncc and much more. Supportive college. Luscious green spread campus. canteen meal is also cost worthy and good.Overall a solid 7/10

Campus Life

We have annual fest Vismay, sports fest, VTU sports tournaments, VTU cultural tournaments. Library is average with wifi systems facilities. We have a very active cultural club tridha which contributes mainly in organising every event of the college creatively.

Admission

Since i got in through kcet. The whole option entry and allotment happened through the kcet board in online. I reported to the college and filled in the forms and details fees required was paid and completed the process

Affliated to VTU all the exams are from VTU syllabus and guidlines are set across by VTU. Implementation of NEP has a wide positive effect on the syllabus. Totally a modrate course easy to pass with friendly faculties.

Placement Experience:

I am currently not into the placement thingy as i have just started my 3rd year but heard a quite about the placements the college the highest is aroung 70 to 75 LPA and the average is ariund 12-14 LPA. Our college also offers masters program in abroad that is it is in collab with the University of ILLNOIS. After 3rd year students above certain CGPA are given chance to complete their degree here or complete B.E with M.E in ILLNOIS.

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
