Likes

STAFF is nice mostly are retired or experienced faculty from government colleges
Greenery around the campus... very nice scenic view
Patient load is nice and have good exposure to new experience

Dislikes

Hostel is very bad, combines washroom for more 100 boys and electricity also poor
Laboratories quality are not good, equipped with old equipment
There is no facility of sports and very less co-cultural activities

Curriculum is designed by NMC and same is followed by the college...and it include class lectures, group discussion, problem based learning, DOAP, museum or library studies... And from second yr we have clinical exposure in hospital and direct talk to patients

After completing 4.5years of college...last one year is total internship where we work with doctors and improve our skills in medical field...around ?7000 per month we get ...after completing intership college offer you to work in hospital further

Tution fees- ?727005 Special fees- ?61708 This is the fees of one year and we have to pay the fees for 5.5years Hostel Fees - 108000 That is necessary for all to take hostel For NRI quota fees is ?2086400

Campus Life

There is no annual or technical fests held in this college..I am from up so I have problem in socializing here.. Library is nice and had large number of books and you take any book whenever you required.. from last yr they started to organise sport activities.

Admission

I applied for government colleges in UP but not get their ..but private colleges in UP are little bit highy budgty ..so I choose clg in kerala...I also go for some other good colleges in kerala but didn't have sufficient marks..so according to merit I got this college...they take admission on the basis of neet marks but you have to fill their separate form on CEA website and mostly it release with neet form

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are good with lots of experience and retired professor from Calicut medical College....and also we get mentors each year so mostly 1:10 to 20 that depends on department strength but pharma and forensic department has only 5 teachers We have two internal and models and in last University...and always there is a continuous class test also...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is vast and it relies more on theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge. The course should be improved enough to provide a better learning atmosphere to students. Exams occur every 2 months and is quite difficult

Great for academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .

Pros and Cons of MBBS private college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The clinics in the college is extremely helpful and really very informative. It prepares is really well for the real world scenario, As we learn how to communicate well with the patients without hurting their feelings or intruding their privacy. Especially the new curriculum CBME involves a lot more patient-doctor interactions

Placement Experience:

After getting the degree I would like to work at KMCT for the year as it is a good college and hospital. And I would also like to take a pg in anatomy and become a lecturer in the same college itself and as a part-time job consultant at home.

The students of our college have freedom of expressing their views in the form of there batch representatives which are chosen every year by the college faculty. Our college gave emphasis on the safety of the students and also at the same time provide them with freedom of speech.

Good faculty, infrastructure and facilities.

Admission process is managed by commissioner for entrance examination (CEE) Kerala. Candidates should register on cee website and provide all essential deatials they asked then they will publish the merit list based on your NEET score. Life of an MBBS student

I mainly applied to this college because it is close to my house. Otherwise too our college is very famous in our state. All the good doctors work here in our hospital. The fees structure and the facilities available are superior to most other colleges in the state. I applied to another college called MES medical college and Jubilee medical college which are quite far from my place. But i did not get accepted there. Admission is based on allotments. We have a first allotment then a second allotment and then there is a pop up allotment. It depends on the score achieved in NEET UG exam. I did not get allotted in Mes medical college because my score was not enough for that college. It is a very competitive field and its very difficult to get admission in the colleges....Read More

Excellence of kmct medical College

You are eligible if you are NEET-UG qualified and you have enough score to enter. You can get application form of NEET-UG of NMC website which is a yearly examination and fee is around 1700 rupees.
