Remarks

Nice and dreamy college. It must be ensured that each teacher is satisfying each student. Nice location ,academic environment and abudant resources. Very much helpful , friendly and supportive in all sphere seniors.Campus is greenish and large. Diversity present here give chance to interact with different culture and so on.

College is just about attending lectures

From 4th semister the students become elegible for the campus placements. since i am in 2nd year i ahve not been a part of placements yet so my knowlege is based of university communication and peer intraction. The no. of students placed is high every year. the no. many vary but over85% students elegible of placements are placed. I will sit for placements

Life at upes from a students perspective

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good,especially for cse students. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment , offering roles in software development , data analytics and related fields although placements depend on skills of the student

Not Perfect , But Definitely Worth the Journey

Placement Experience:

placements is generally good , specially for students who actively build their skills through project and coding practice . students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem , internships are offered from 5th n 6th sem ...also in the 1st and 2nd year we have internship like in the 1st year we have SRIJAN internship in which we work in a NGO and in the 2nd year we have an internship in a company. highest package reported in recent years is 50+ lpa while average for computer science related programs is generally around 8 - 9 lpa after completing my graduation degree i plan to pursue opportunity in cybersecurity for 2-3 years and then continue my studies.

Great Infrastructure and facilities to build your future

Placement Experience:

Many types of roles are offered for placements also UPES takes lifetime placement responsibility, means you can sit for campus placements for lifetime even when you left or got termiinated from other companies after working for certain years maybe 5 or 10. A large number of students gets placed every year, almost 100% who doesn't have any back in any sem and a clear criminal record. Because UPES invites all types of packages from 1 Crore per annum to about 2-3 LPA.

IIT Roorkee - The complete story

Placement Experience:

Being an IIT, the campus placements are pretty good. Over 90% of the batch gets placed, with a median of 20LPA. All major tech, financial and management companies come for placements. Highest package generally goes up to 2 crores each year, though this is an international offer. The highest domestic package is around 80LPA. These offers are generally for the quant offered by HFTs (High frequency trading), which refers to quantitative analysis in stock trading. The placement season is in first sem of 4th year, and if you have a good resume with 8+ CGPA, you are all set to go. I plan on sitting for AI-ML placements.

Reality of nit Uttarakhand

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester a student is eligible for placement. A quiet good company is visit our college for placement companies like adobe, Samsung, l&t, etc. visit with good number of offer. This sem highest on campus placement is 30lakh and average package of 12lakh approx. 90%student got placed and 10%go for higher studies.my plan is to go for psu.

IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment. It was mainly through jee mains and advance you have to get around 7000 ranks in advance to get IIT Roorkee and I got around 1496 to get mathematics and Computing in iit roorkee, the counseling has 6 rounds in which you have to present your choices and based on your rank you get the college...Read More
