Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS is a clinical based professional course so when I was opting for this course I had to make sure I get a very good patient load to boost my clinical learnings. The learning is totally based on patients so its practical. We have so many labs and modules for clinical based learning. Regarding exams we have weekly formative assessments and three terminal exams and annual professional exams.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Endogenous intership within the college hospital with monthly stipend of Rupees 10,000. We have night duties also in the internships Overall it gives a good clinical orientation in all thr departments and its functioning

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure Tution fee 12,80,037 Hostel fee 15,00000 Miscellaneous 85,600 This fees is set and regulated by UP government and subject to hike or change is hands of government only. No scholarships are available

Campus Life

3

Annual Insomnia is being arranged. Its a proper 6 day fest includes games and various competitions with a cultural night and a DJ night. There are smart boads installed in lecture theaters for better learning

Hostel Facilities

3

In room we have 2 student accommodation with bed study table, chair, cupboard and attached washroom with a balcony. Rooms are fine and spacious but have fungus issue since it is an old hostel. Hostel is compulsory.

Admission

The admission process was in too step first physical reporting was organized in Saharanpur medical college as the admission is considered via NEET counselling by NMC then proper physical verification by the college

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio is pretty good. I mean we have 66 faculty on 150 students for the second year including professors, associate professors, Tutors and demonstraters. Clinical based learning is very well implemented in the college according to the guidelines of NMC with proper teacher student interaction

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Microbiology)

Was getting a professional degree of MBBS

Placement Experience:

During admission we sign an affidavit with UP government to work in rural area for 2 years or else give 10 lakh rupees. If selected for PG bond will continue after PG fir 5 years else 40 lakh fine. Since there is affidavit , UP government will itself provide job to us as MBBS doctors. Most of students appear for NEET PG exam and take admission in allotted college as junior resident. If one cannot clear NEET PG exam, they will either work in clinics and hospitals as MBBS doctors or they will join any college as demonstrators or Lecturers. The students who have completed internship of 1 year after 4.5 years course are eligible to take any job or practice in private. Salary of mbbs doctors in our country is 60-70 thousand monthly. Almost all students get placed in one or other place. I will get my MS and DM degree after mbbs and become a neurosurgeon.
