- Supportive Faculty: The ECE department at NEC Nellore has some fantastic professors, especially the HOD. They are highly knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to help students understand complex concepts. They are good staff.
- Decent Placement: The college does a good job placementsThey arrange training sessions to prepare students for the placements. The ECE batch students manages to secure placements in Infosys and Wipro and HCL and Accenture.
- The college boasts well maintained labs with the neccesary equipment for practical learning.
Dislikes
- Some professors are excel and others are rely heavily on presentations and rote learning.
- The college have doesn't have a very active social scene.They are clubs and events, but participation is higher.
- The course curriculum itself covers only the essential topics in ECE.
Course Curriculum Overview
The ECE circulum is good. It packed with latest topics like IOT and Embedded systems and Robotics and MP and Mc and along with CSE subjects. And it prepared me well for my career growth With having Labs. Exams are tough but fair enough to write.More breaks would be great.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunies are avalible at our college (NECN) .The can have in two types offline or online we can prefer. For me online is good for swech organization (Which provide internships) like Web development and Full stack development. Which gives us experience for our carreer.
Placement Experience
Placements at my college are pretty good.Students are eligible to participate from the thrid year i.e 4th semistor max we can participate from 4th semister onwards.Big companies like Acenture,TCS and Infosys are visit our campus some are offline and some are online they are offerings wide range of profies for students.The average package is 6 pla and highest package is 10lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loved the program Course works's intense prepared me well. the totion fee is appoximately around 150000 may be increase yearly wise. Lots of scho;arship appourtunies are avaliable. campus jobs are also avaliable. there are some addfitional amount for training placements which is include in total fee.
Campus Life
Social: made awesome frds through clubs l;ike hobbies and swara clubs and event like Etron and accational events.and dont miss it out tech fest and farewell fest theuy are awesome. Infrastructure: We have are massive library with wide collection of books and journels and class rooms are tech high. Plus studens groups and portal keeps us connected.
Admission
The admision process is simple. Getting in is competetive.I took the entrance exam i scroced the 189 rank from ECET exam which iss taken under polytechnic degree.The cutoff mark is also high. The entrance exam consists of 200 bits in which we have to score 50 which is the cutoff mark.The application procees itself is okay.
Faculty
Some ECE proffessors at NEC are amazing, with phds and engaging classes. you can chat with them after the clas also for help. The ratio of teachers to students can be high though.so some professsors might lecture more than others.
