Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs curriculum is vast and hard. Here we have 2 internal exams where 50% is mandatory to pass and these are tough. Final MBE exam occurs at end of year mostly and here also 50% is mandatory to pass else we have to sit for supplementary exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is there in 5 year and it is mandatory. Stipend is very less only 12K compared to govt colleges where they provide 30-40 K minimum. One year of deemed internship is compulsory for Mbbs degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is 6.5 lakh per year and gets increased every year probably Hostel fees ranges from 1-1.5 lak(non AC/ac) Complete course fees is around 40 lakh rupees. No scholarship or aid is provided by institute.
Campus Life
We have a mega fest every year which continues for 3 days and some small functions like Ganesh puja , freshers party etc in between the yaar. Library is big provided with ac's and all books needed. We also get a 1Gb per day free wifi inside it. Lts are also spacious for 150 students with digital boards Sports event occur on a regular basis.
Admission
Admission was through Neet Ug which is a common entrance test across India. Cut off goes high in Odisha and increases every year. Hi-tech is a semi private college so after every government seat is filled, students opt for this College so cutoff increases.
Faculty
Good or bad teacher depends on the subject but most of them are well qualified and supportive (especially 1st year faculties) . Faculty ratio is good... For every subject we have atleast 3-4 teachers. Interaction depends on the student else teachers are friendly and ready to solve doubts
