The course is a relevant course right now tourism has many job opportunities may be it's the biggest job industry right now. The curriculum is good but there are lot of unwanted subjects that makes you stressed and frequent examination are the other problem

There are lot of scholarships avilable but it's based on category the college itself doesn't provide any scholarship. If you got merit seat you don't have any fees excluding the tution fees of University that is 2130

Campus Life is overall good the college helds arts and sports festivals every year and other festivals like onam and Christmas celebrations and college day is held on the month of March. Every class rooms have a projector or a smart tv for good education experience

You have to be passed the higher secondary education in cbse or any board. You can apply in the official website of Calicut University if you are in OBC sc or st category you have reservations or if you are from Lakshadweep you also have a reservation. The exams are little bit difficult and frequent

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

We can get admission here by either the allotment process by Calicut University or by buying a management seat. SC and ST category students do not need to pay any fees here. We have 6 semesters and in each sem, we need to pay only exam fees informed by Calicut university, other fees are not included with these.
