Remarks

The system will seem a little off in the beginning. that's only because our college is new and still learning.

Entrance Preview

It is pretty well known for its name and faculty. It's a very influential university and is based in Noida. the reason was that this university did not ask for a donation either at the beginning but has a higher fee structure. This university also has placement for internships and higher studies too.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is really good. My faculty especially come from a lot of experienced backgrounds and they teach us the same way. We have case studies and site visits which allows a more physical study than just by hearting. We also learn how to deal with different types of people and how to improve our communication skills.

Internships Opportunities

No. It does not provide the internship. There is no general stipend and no overall experience. No No No No.

Placement Experience

4

They give placements to the best of the students, mostly the top three students. Students have to work hard on their portfolio for showing them to different firms and different companies. They have to get accepted into different places by their own help and with a little support from faculty.

College Events

4

We have cultural events, where the talents from different students are embraced and bringing the best in them. A lot of our students tend to pursue their careers in singing, dancing and acting as our university encourages the fact that we need more than just engineers and doctors in the world.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I study architecture at this university, which makes the whole course automatically expensive. This excludes my own expenses such as hostel, food, clothes and even stationery items. Then in case, I do have weekend plans with my friends, the money used per month becomes more.

Fees and Financial Aid

We do have a scholarship facility where in case you have above 85% in your 12th std you are provided with a scholarship program that will reduce the fee as long as you maintain a certain CGPA

Campus Life

3.5

We have a lot of extracurricular activities. We have a lot of intra college festivals. Dance and Sports have a larger participation percentile. We also have cultural festivals, celebrating few and respecting many. The holidays are provided according to tradition. The infrastructure of our college is really good.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is really good. I have one roommate. we have been together for the past four years. we have good drinking water and a night canteen service that serves till five in the morning every day. We also have a separate canteen otherwise till nine at night and mess for different people. we have a fast food center too.

Alumni/Alumna

Our university is only five years old. So the alumni network is still building. But from our universities across India of the same brand have a brilliant network.

Exam Structure

We have preparatory leave before the exam begins which is about fifteen days. Before that, all the students are required to submit their portfolios and submissions, complete their discussions with all the faculties including clearing their doubts. Once the exam commences we have a certain time, depending on the exam type and the breaks will be provided accordingly.

Admission

I got the admission through calling them first and asking them the procedure and then was asked to attend their interview which could be done in any amity university. I was also asked to write their entrance exam AMCAT which I did in their Chennai University. After the test and interview, I got a call stating that I had cleared their requirements and was eligible for admission. I was called to the university with my documents.

Faculty

4.5

They are really experienced and very helpful. They try a lot to give us exposure to the outside world. Giving us reality checks and making sure we also learn through the same. They make sure we are through with our portions and syllabus. We are very proud of our university

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
