Honest review (must read before taking admission)

So curriculum I think is okay actually. Subjects that are actually related to dentistry have been focused more. Exam frequency is perfect according to my college we have enough break time and study time both. Teaching method should slightly changed as in more advancements are definately needed. For example nowadays for normal restoration people use composite in private clinics but composites practically are taught in internship in colleges. Actually it should be taught in final year itself. However in exams we have amalgam only so it's not college's fault

We have to complete our internship at our college itself. We don't get any kind of stipend for the same In internship we have nice patient exposure and clinical practice and we have various educational programs to attend

So I really think that the fees is too much. We pay 3,19,000 per year . Then comes hostel fees that is 50000 per year and canteen fees 48000 per year. College fees are too much. College provides nice scholarships . But I really don't get any!!!!! ???? I must mention this there are many students who misuse this scholarship. They give fake details of their parents income and take one or even more scholarships at a time. Also we don't get any stipend during our internship which I think we should be given

So every year we have one cultural fest and a sports week . Apart from that we have 4 5 days like traditional day signature day group day bollywood day, etc . There are educational events also every year Studies wise we have classrooms with ac and projectors . Technology wise it is great. We have a library which needs to be changed a bit infrastructure wise Actually overall infrastructure should be changed

Hostel fees 50000 per year(ac room) and 44000 per year(non AC room). One room Two students in one room We have individual bathroom with toilet and basin in each room 2 fans 2 tubelights 2 beds 2 huge cupboards and 2 studytable and 2 chairs Great facility wise Our hostel has 5 floors and we have a Lift too! We have water coolers at each floor And there's a warden Canteen fees 48000 per year Food is better than other colleges in Ahmedabad However I still do not like it because some things need to be changed like milk quality etc.

To get admission in BDS we have to pass an entrance exam NEET. According to the marks we get the college One thing I would like to highlight is that people who take early admissions pay full fees (if there's no scholarship). But if the 100 seats are not filled then the college calls students itself and give admission at less fees and these are the students who definitely scored less in neet and didn't get admission earlier

In every department there are 6 to 7 staff in total rest are PGs and interns and the UGs. However most of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever asked they readily answers our questions and also give information other than bookish knowledge. Teaching is very impartial and transparent. In lectures we have interactive sessions most of the time. The professors always try to interact with the students leaving one or two. There are some teachers who just Come Read and Go , not even any explanation they just read and that happens mostly with one or two of them. However those doubts we can definitely solve through those who happily explains us.
