- They sometimes behave over strictly which is not necessary at all. Sometimes they hurt students with their harsh words. .
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum I think is not that upto mark as compared to regular students. With SLMs we also have to study from internet or from other books because all the information is not available in slm if available then not in a patterned or easy way. Teachers also provide ppts for specific topics to study for exams. The timings of exam is okay that is 9-12 and i am perfectly fine with the timing as I have to go to work after the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
the college fees are 6k. So the university will not provide any placement opportunities for private students as compared to regular students, but they should also give an opportunity to their private students for placement. And not all the students are provided placements.
Campus Life
Social groups played an important role in building my confidence, and also I started interactions with my classmates over groups. The introvert like me starts doing conversions in groups, which boosts my confidence well. SLMS Or books are available online in odl website. Those who opted for hard copy have to give an extra amount with fees and also have to visit the odl department for a hard copy of books. During last semester, slm is not available for the half semester, which is very difficult for one to study.
Admission
Admission process is also difficult as I have to visit the university several times to get admission. Specially during submission of fees in cash counter which is opened for only 4 hours and that having a a large lines of students for submission of their respective course fees. The faculty on cash counter did not accept my fees because of a silly reason that one currency not is having a small dent of turmeric. I mean I didn't intentionally add turmeric on the note. Then I have to come again next day to submit the fee then again visited the odl department to get admission showing the reciept of payment. But now I know the odl website and they also update the same over groups. It becomes easier to guide someone to get admission.
Faculty
Mainly I opted for online classes and the faculty is just wow. They cover all the topics in the countable lectures. The way of teaching is also good. They didn't skip any class. The support is awesome from their end they also motivates us during the lectures.
