Likes
- Faculty is very good as compared to any normal government college and they are from the most renowned government colleges of India like AIIMS, KGMU, IMS BHU etc.
- Almost no hidden charges in fees in any form .
- Sports and cultural activities conducted here is also great. A college fest is conducted every year by the students.
Dislikes
- Very restricted area for students. The students has to follow lots of restrictions if they are staying in the college campus which is compulsory for 4.5yrs after that u can shift outside during internship.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a bit tough but its good if u want to become a good doctor. Like we have 2 internal assessments and a pre university exam and in aggregate we need to score at least 50% to appear in the final 1st year university exam. Along with it we must have an attendance of 80% in practical and 75% in theory.
Internships Opportunities
Stipend is 7,000 only. As this is decided by the up government it is for all the government as well as the private medical college students pursuing mbbs.. But yeah after mbbs u have lots of options. You can join any of the hospital by providing them ur CV. You will surely get at least 90,000 just being an mbbs doctor.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees = 11,70,000 Miscellaneous = 85,000 Hostel = 1,50,000 No extra hidden charges But yeah u need to pay examination fees and university enrollment fees which is almost okay. For ac u need to pay 50,000 more.
Campus Life
Campus life is okay as it is a private college it has lots of restrictions, like the time of college is 9pm and outing is mostly not allowed for 1st yr students on weekdays. dress code need to be followed. But yeah the students organize a fest every year and its really fun. We have gym, library, grocery store almost everything u need is available in the campus
Hostel Facilities
Hostel charges are 1,50,000 for non ac and 50,000 more for ac rooms.. different hostels for boys and girls obviously and it is compulsory to stay in the college premises until u r in ur internship.. u can leave the hostel and get a room outside during ur internship period. Mess food is ok ok.. not so good not so bad.. u will gradually learn to survive and be habitual to the scenario. Don't be scared.
Admission
Cut off of this college is around 490.. minimum must be 490.. it can exceed too. As it is a private college that too in up so we don't get any reservation.. it's only on the basis of marks u have scored in neet. The admission process is very transparent all according to the nmc guidelines. But it was very tedious to do so on the nodal centre.
Faculty
Faculties are just top notch.. we have 3 faculty which includes a HOD, an associate professor and a assistant professor and 3 tutors for each department.. They are mostly from the most prestigious government colleges like kgmu, aiims and afmc pune.
