Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I wanted to become a chemist in the future that was my dream role. The college is providing what I wanted. The lab facility is very good as it has the state's number one equipment...also the professors are very knowledge persons.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship opportunities included companies FACT Ernakulam and CIPET. My field of study is more towards the chemical field. So I and my friends get the petroleum and other chemical companies internship jobs...the stipend is like 10000

Placement Experience

4.5

The students get placement offers from the last year like in the 5th semester. The companies are Tata Institute and Wipro like the companies are providing 10000 to 30000 rupees per monthly package. I think 10 percent of students get the placement. My plan is to prepare for competitive exams

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 22000. The fee structure is very decent. For me, it was a self-finance course. so I wanted to pay a sum of rupees 11000 per a sem. Also, there is a hostel facility for girls and it is like 2000 per month. The are merit-based scholarships.

Campus Life

4

There are lots of festivals like the chemifest, the bvokfest, all the departments have seperate fests so that a year is full of festivals..also the college day, arts day...and the celebrations like Holli..the library is e-library...the indoor stadium is international level, last year it is the stage for a national junior women's volleyball meet.

Admission

The eligibility is you want to complete your plus two in science, the applications are accepted online or in offline mode. The reservation is available for SC ST..if you have anything more than 85 percent in plus-two then you will get admission in the college

Faculty

5

The student and faculty members ratio is very high as the students are very low. because it is a scientific course, but the teachers the college provides are numerous, also they are all skilled provisional. They are helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
