What Students Say
Likes
- The campus offers adequate space with a ton of greenery, most of the faculty is very good at their respective subjects and helpful when students face problems regarding curriculum
- The campus location is good as there's malls, place to eat and spend time nearby
Dislikes
- The faculty is not understanding wrt anything that is not related to curriculum so much so that they wouldn't allow me to do an internship after first sem just because that is not "okay" to them, there is unnecessary rules like a dress code
- Most of the equipment at campus is outdated, during admission we were told we'll be getting on campus wifi access but they do not give the access no matter what u do, there is no network connectivity inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not as difficult as made to be but requires time and practice, as far as I've seen it's relevant but as I said the equipment is not upto date. The internal exams are too frequent and can create panic and hindrance in studying for the end-semester. Internals are set super difficult intentionally to scare students into studying for finals, finals are moderately difficult.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is available and is not too shabby but I personally wouldn't go for it, they do have core jobs but they are very less in number, the graduate every year, there is barely any package that goes above 20lpa and most are around 3-10lpa only.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such thing as campus employment here, the fee structure is fair, I think, and as of now, I have seen no significant hike in it. Financial aid is available but I'm not too sure about scholarships, the complete cost is 1.35L per year.
Campus Life
There is a total of 26 societies (clubs) in the college and each participates in their own events throughout the year but the college only has one event in the whole year, there are multiple sports, and teams play other colleges and take part in tournaments. College life totally depends on the student here as it is upto them how much they indulge themselves in activities apart from studies.
Admission
The admission process is pretty straightforward and does not require a lot, they will only ask for the basic required documents and it is done on first come first-serve basis so that is the main thing after that they have their own standerds as to whom they'll accept based on high school diploma score and entrance exam scores if any.
Faculty
Most of the faculty here are either very old and super experienced or just completed their education, tho most of them have phds they can get jittery when students are stubborn with doubts, faculty is very much approachable and can be reached out to at any time. They are not too serious about things like mentorship and teaching to them is like a chore but they surely have an understanding of their own subjects, to actually learn anything one has to reach out to the teacher in private and ask about the topic.
