Experience at PCDS

I found this degree to be very interesting although it has very less scope in small cities but in metro cities, dentists are valued quite a lot. Everybody is nowadays focusing on their oral health which Is quite evident by the number of patients increasing in the clinics. However the teaching curriculum involves old methods practised in dentistry which shall be changed with the advanced curriculum.

Our college has it's own dental hospital which makes it easy for us to do internship without finding any other new place. The patient load is good. We get to learn a lot. Faculties help us by training and teaching us the practical skills.

I don't know much about it but there's scholarship for reserved categories students. They have to pay 1,00,000 only as their fees. Financial issues during the fees payment are also sometimes taken to consideration if there's a genuine problem. The overall fees is 2,00,000 it can be increased around 10-15k

Various activities are held every now and then. Most of the festivals are celebrated on a large scale with great enthusiasm. All sorts of medical and dental days are celebrated. Several competitions are held to energize students & instill the spirit of competition among them

The rooms are quite good for the accommodation of two persons. There's attached washroom and a balcony is also provided to every room separately. The meal is quite average. Security of the campus is very good.

You should be clearing the neet cutoff. I took admission through MP neet ug counseling. Only neet exam givers can take part in the admission rounds. The admission involves submitting of your original documents like any other medical college.

The faculties are very friendly. There's a system called mentor mentee in which one faculty is assigned to 5-8 students which makes it easy for us to communicate & deliver our problems. The faculties also takes our silly doubts without demotivating us
