Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have decided to take this course since I didn't get admission to mbbs. After choosing this course I have learnt about the importance of agriculture and learned about the course. It's a professional degree and job opportunities are more compared to other degrees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sem fees are 7000 and by adding special fees and PTA funds it will be around 10000. Obc and SC/St students will get scholarships like e-grantz. During Interenship, we will get a stipend of rupees 8000 per month till the end of the semester

Campus Life

5

The arts festival is gently carried out here, every year the university union will conduct an Intercollegiate arts festival and the winner is rewarded with a golden lady trophy. The library is well-managed and has a lot of books. Media club, film club, nature club, social service league, cultural club are some of the clubs

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is very homely. Fees are semwise and have an average of 2500 per month. The menu is really good and also prepared by students(menu) Hygienic. Curfew up 9 .30 pm for girls. And is situated inside the campus

Admission

Entrance is through the Neet and icar exam. Admission to Kau is through the keam rank obtained by writing keam. Obc, scene/St students have some seats reserved. And a seat for an employee at Kerala Agricultural University.

Faculty

4.5

There is a good ratio of faculty to students. There is a lot of no. Of teachers and other staff in each department. The faculty is well educated and most of them have done their phds in prestigious universities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is very vast and i hope it is filtered. But the new admission hqs got a very new curriculym with more in person experience courses, which is better in my opinion. I do wish that some courses are changed or added to ours too including AI as it is of rising inpprtance in all sectors. The schedule is very hectic so it could be tweaked a bit to accomadate some relax time for the students.Other than that i belive that the scheduling and curriculum is good. The frequency of examination is okay...but the mark system is very complex. So good marks has to acheieved in almost all the semesters so that a good OGPA can be recueved.
