Infrastructure are good as compared to others govt. college in kanpur

Dislikes

They do not have animal shelter, the condition of dogs are not good there
There are no AC in the classroom in summer it is very difficult to attend class
They don't have proper parking place or separate place for two-wheeler

Course Curriculum Overview

our college is the only college which have the all the technology branch. The curriculum is very attractive, it includes the 60%syllabuus of chemical engineering and the remaining 40 % is from the specialisation

Internships Opportunities

In your pre final year you have to complete the 45 days internship it can be industrial or research based on your interest. Yes, college help you in industrial internship but for research you have to try by your own sometimes teacher can help you if he knows someone in IITs

Placement Experience

After your course either you can go for placement or higher education based on your interest. You get the placement of you want even faculty help you in that but be sure about that weather you want to or not

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is around 127500 per year which is Little High as compared to other colleges but they also offers industrial tours for per final and final in very less amount. In event also no money has been taken from students

Campus Life

The infrastructure of HBTU is good as compared to others govt college in kanpur. We have very old library as we all know HBTU has completed its 100 years you can find the book which is there from 1920

Admission

The admission in HBTU was by JEE Main marks or percentile on the basis of your rank and category you will get the branch. You have to fill the seperate application form for admission they are there own counseling

Faculty

In chemical technology branch there are almost 40-60 students in one branch. In every department they have different faculty and staff which have taken different task like placement and all. Almost every faculty have PhD in their respective branch.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit the university including tcs, wipro, Accenture, Harman, Amdocs and they give on average of 4-5LPA. The highest packet would be arounf 35-40LPA and it was off campus. around 70 percent of the students get placed. I am working now

Reasonable Fees and best studies overall a good college

Placement Experience:

the placements are quite good based on students skills and knowledge. from the 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placements the companies like Autodesk,Trilogy,Webcool, and many more companies with average offers of 28LPA to 35LPA. this year average package is around 6-7LPA. the placements percentage varies per year but on average it is 60-70%

KNIT SULTANPUR IS A GOOD COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . This year many companies have visited here like wipro,hcl,etc and the average package is 8 lpa and percentage of students placed are 15 to 20 percent.
