Engineering life at vignans

My course is information technology. The course curriculum is accurately sufficient for the students who wants a career in the field of technology and software Engineering as the course curriculum deals with mostly coding related skills and subjects which enhance the coding skills of students and communication skills can also be increased with practical sessions which helps us in real time situations.

The placements in our college are not that good but one can expect an average package between two to four lakhs per annum and the highest package has been twenty lakhs per annum. The companies will visit the campus for placement drive and will place almost 50 to 60 percentage of students. Companies which offered placements are Infosys, Amazon, TCS etc.

My fees for the course of information technology in ninety thousand but I got this seat in this college through counselling process so I get a reimbursement of 35000 which is a scholarship provided by Telangana state government which reduces my over-all fees to 65000 and then extra 2500 as a part of jntu fees so my total fees per annum is 67500

The overall college experience has been moderate as there are equal number of pros and cons which I encountered in this college.The fests are conducted annually in the summers in the months of May or June. Clubs like cultural, technical and literature are available for students who wants to explore. And other clubs like NSS and red cross society offers various social activities. There is one central library which consists of wide range of books.

The admission process was good. I had to bring all the required documents to administration office in the campus and the application form will be given to us in the administration block which in the main block of the campus. I had to give eamcet entrance exam in order to get into this college. the exams are conducted once in two months like two mid examinations are conducted before we write final semester exams.

The faculty are not that great. Almost everyone of the faculty has done masters in their respective fields. Teachers are mostly friendly and interactive with students and will clear students doubts clearly and efficiently. When we talk about teaching methods, little improvement is needed as they mostly focus on theory part.
