My experience of my college life

The course structure is good. We have both software and hardware subjects. Considering the duration of each semester, the syllabus is very vast. We also have non-credits subject which is not at all useful for us. We have electives subject where we are not allowed to choose which is a big con in our course structure.

From 6th semester onwards we are eligible for placement but the candidate should not have any active backlogs. Based the company eligibilty criteria the cgpa required might change . Some of the companies visited are Amazon, TCS ,PWC, DXC technologies,Cap gemini, Wipro, Tech manhindra, Candela etc. 40percent of them will get placed during placemnts .We have good placement oportunities in this college but only in software sector. There are very less placement oportunities in hardware sector. My plans after getting degree is i want to do MS in abroad since there is a recession going on.

There is no scholarship oportunities in our college. If we join through EAPCET exam, there are two categories in this , Category A and Category B. For Category A the tuition fee is 60200(for all branches) and for Category B , it depends on the course you have opted . For CSE it is 180000, for ECE,IT,EEE it is 150000 .

We have very less fests and almost there are no technical fests and workshops. In our library there are many books in each subject but at the near of exams there are no books available . In our classrooms there are no ACs provided , very less fans . The projectors in our class are not of good quality and the screen is not clearly visible. There are iic , iete and ieee clubs in our college. And each department has their own club . But most of them are inactive.

I wrote EAPCET exam . Depending on the rank and selected colleges during counselling i got admission in this college. I fall into BC-B category so i also availed the reservation benefits. We can also join through management quota where we have to pay full fee. Overall the admission process is good.

In this college, Faculty are well-prepared experienced and well-educated. Some of them are graduates from NITs and IITs. The teachers explain the concepts very well . They also explain beyond our syllabus. We can interact with very freely and with open-mindedly. They are very patient while clearing our doubts. They also guide us in writing competitive exams and also for out college placements

We did not have any group discussion, interview and written test . We can only join through EAPCET exam and we can directly join based on our 12th marks. But in 12th the marks should be above 60%. If we join through EAPCET exam , based on the rank we get admission.
