Remarks

The college management is not as good as they teach the management to us. They do not decide what will be the paper pattern for the particular semester/ academic year. They do not decide which will be the holidays. They have decided to keep 12 festival ho

Entrance Preview

I gave N-MAT examination. I scored a rank of 1401. This is the best college, I was hearing this since my 11th class. (2011-12). And I got this madness on this college. And decided whatever happens, I want to be a student of this college, actually university. i.e. NMIMS.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is vast and necessary this days. As the industrial experts are helping this college to make the students that much eligible, to have lesser problems for the student once they enter the industry.

Internships Opportunities

This is the first time, I will apply for an internship. So, I don't know more about the internahip program. But for civil engineering course, L&T is a company which comes to offer internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

The average placements for the civil engineering course is around 4-5 lakh p.a. The company guarantees for atleast 0.5 year to keep the fresher attached to the company.

College Events

3

There is a technical fest: TAQNEEQ; There is a cutural fest: SATTVA; They are one of the best festivals happening in Mumbai. The cultural fest is of 3-4 days and the preparation starts 1.5 months prior. The technical fest is of 1-2 days and the preparation starts 1 month prior.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its expensive. Its ?3,09,000 p.a.There is a management quota too, for which a person has to pay ?92,000 more than fees. There was gujarati quota 3 years back. But now they have removed it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is loan facility, but not by college. They have tie up with 9-10 banks approx. Including Dena Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank.

Campus Life

1.5

I would recommend the students, regardless of the college you choose, please choose Mumbai campus. MPSTME campus is just a 9 floor building. That's it.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel for boys: 3 venuesThe hostel for girls: 7 venues, The range of the hostel fees is from ?1,50,000-?1,80,000. (With and without A/C). The mess is at the MPSTME canteen only. For some hostels, the food is provided at hostel. The food is same as th

Alumni/Alumna

They alumni are ver helpful for making the contacts, knowledge and a good student mentor. Alumni are still in network with most of the students in our college. Even with the teachers.

Exam Structure

There are 2 internal exam of 15 marks each. And there is 20 marks for the team work. The whole 50 marks are scaled down to 40 marks. And the external exams are of 60 marks.

Faculty

2.5

The faculties are nice. Sometimes crazy, sometimes very good. But They will mentor good. They are the Ph.d from different colleges. They have a good knowledge of the practicals. And they can guide us why this thing is happening.

Placement Experience:

The average Lpa of the college is 9 lpa so it is good. Marketing gets 100% placement as compared to other streams. There is booth on campus and off campus placement. And the placement cells bring good companies and there are chances of PPO also.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
