Course Curriculum Overview
The college is so popular in our city and all my elder brothers and sisters also studied from this college, that is why I also chose this college. The curriculum of our college not only teach us syllabus's lessons but also prepare us for real-world problems. They conduct seminar for these kind of awareness. There have everything well and good, there have nothing to make complain about. In this semester based education system, in every 6 months exams are conducted and in every 2 months internal examinations are conducted by our college and department of English.
Internships Opportunities
The most popular internships were from companies named - SBI LIFE and HDFC LIFE. The stipend was based upon our works and lead generation. Here we have to promote insurance and if we sell any insurance then we will get incentive.
Placement Experience
In our college from 6th semester students are eligible to sit for placement campus. In my time TCS and Infosys visited our college and more than 15 students got chance out of 50. They are giving average 2-3 LPA package and the highest package is 6-7 LPA more than 20% students are getting placements. After my masters degree I will go for corporate job.
Fees and Financial Aid
There have some government scholarships like SVMCM which gives us a good amount of money and our principal also give reimbursement to whom, who needed it. In SVMCM we used to get 24,000 per year but the marks should be more than 60% for first application and for renew it should be more than 50% In our college campus Multi National Companies like TCS visited for giving us job in both IT and BPS.
Campus Life
In our college there are cinducted many festival like Saraswati Puja, Basanta Utsab and many. Also our college conduct inaguration in every year. In terms of book facility and library there have immense amount of books in our college. In our classroom along with chalk and dusters there also have projectors and good sound quality mic system. Also many sports are conducted like Cricket, Footballs, Marthon and etc. In our college there also have student union, who help us whenever we need them.
Hostel Facilities
In our room good lighting, fan are provided. Meal quality are standard, the registration process is very easy but to get the seat is little bit tough as many students tries to get admitted in hostel room. And in terms of money the total cost of room is 5000 for the whole year, so affordable than any other rooms. The locality is beside our college, in front of Nandanic Club.
Admission
To get admission in MA (English) in Prabhat Kumar College, one must have to score more than 60% in graduation level in English and then he will be qualified based on the numbers of available seats. You can find application form, fees and dates from the official website of prabhat Kumar College. For reservation there have some additional scholarships which is 6-12k per year. There are semester based examinations and questions are standard. Everything is great and well enough if possible canteen should be little more standard. Otherwise everything is fine
