Review of my college, jntua kalikiri

The only remark of our college is the maintenance, we have everything provided gym, indoor stadium, canteen, but they are left like that without opening and no one is there to keep interest in them, library is good, college studies are good, placements are average, faculty are average, management is good,

Since it is a government college, as I am from a poor background, I opted for it. Initially, I excised all government colleges during the counseling, luckily I got this college. At the starting of my 1st year I was afraid after seeing the infrastructure, but now, no other college in Andhra Pradesh has an infrastructure like our college.

Yeah, as it is a government college, we need not expect that everything will be taught by college, we have to learn by our own, since I'm civil engineering student I have to learn fieldwork more and college provide us everything to learn the subject, and they provide us with a good schedule to follow every year.

No, but it suggests students to go for internships to other colleges outside and, I think for other departments like cse,ece, they conduct workshops.

Yeah previous year students of civil engineering got placements in one civil company, and now for my batch, three to four companies came for recruitment, and we can attend to other colleges also for interviews, recently we wrote TCS national level exam, and in that 5 students got selected.

Every year we celebrate more events like college tests which are conducted by respective branches, college sports day, freshers day, some technical events like workshops, we invite other colleges during the college tests and we conduct workshops for them also, we also conduct lab training during our fest.

Since it is a government college fee is 10000, which is again paid by the government only for students who are economically backward. Also, we get more scholarship which is deducted to our hostel bill, overall including our hostel bill we get approximately 30000 every year, in that there may be a scholarship for the students.

Yeah, all the backward students of our college are getting fee reimbursement and scholarship for us and all the scholarship is used for paying mess bill. No loan facility is available as it is government college.

Campus life is not good at all, because there is no livelihood outside the campus premises, we have to go for 1km to buy something or to eat something, movies etc.. coming to labs we have every lab in our college for all departments. All the labs are equipped with the latest equipment and we are allowed to use it whenever we want. We are getting conducted with English training programmes monthly once. They call the trainer from outside to teach us good English skills for placements. there is no robotics, In coming years they may conduct.

There will be no hostel in any other Andhra Pradesh government college with such good hostel facilities, we have separate hostels for girls and boys, we have to pay establishment charges for water, electricity and maintenance purpose. Coming to the food in the hostel it was not as good as it is maintained by local people. It was adverse in this case.

Senior students of their respective roll numbers take care of their juniors and provide them with books and give them suggestions. if we get a good circle of seniors and friends we can have a great campus life in our college. our seniors help a lot and we also help our juniors.

Our exams are conducted by jntua Anantapur exam section, yearly we have two semesters, each semester has 90 working days, two mid exams which are used to assess internal marks and one-semester exam. The internal marks for mid exams were calculated as 80% of highest marks of the mid exams and 20% of the lowest one.

At first we have to write eamcet entrance exam, then after that we have to wait for results, after declaration of results we have to register for councelling and get our certificates verified, after certificate verification we will get a username and password, with that username and password we have to login to official website www.apeamcer.org and excise our options for colleges, in that I got my college.

As I already mentioned above, we need not depend on faculty in government college, but in our college our faculty will guide us and encourage us to go with thorough learning of the subject only, we have a very good faculty and also poor of them, but our head of the department is Ph.D. faculty and all others are completed their match in their respective specialization.
