Likes

I like the college atmosphere. The infrastructure will be very good . The campus would be full of trees and it will give the lively atmosphere.
I like the Faculty of my department. Some are strict but most of the staffs are very friendly
The events would be extra ordinary.During the college fest it will full of fun and enjoyment

Dislikes

I don't like my course which I opted. It was full of basic it is only a foundation course for the higer studies
They can provide with any special course for the students who seeks for any job immediately after they finish the graduation
The placement can be given for every courses. For courses like Zoology they didn't provide any campus interview..

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually the curriculum in that course was very basic.. and if i study pg only I can go for any job or any research. In the practical session we had dissection of frog, cockroach and all.They would have avoided that

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get any internship or stipend so I don't know much about that, some of my friends got stipend and I don't know the details about that But Many BCA students got placement in HCl , Infosys, CTS, TCS etc

Fees and Financial Aid

As I studied as day scholar,the fees amount is much lesser than autonomous. Per year it will be around 15,000.( 11,500+3500) . Odd semester fees amount would be much higher than even sem.Totally for 6 sem I had paid around 45000 lesser than that.As I didn't get any scholarship I don't know much about that. As I studied zoology we did not get any campus placement.But for some other courses like physics,BCA they provided campus employment

Campus Life

We had a grand inter college fest every year. Most of the some celebration or any event would be going on.The environment wil be very lively.Ncc and Nss will be in very active mode every time.In library Most of the books would be available.Any course books or magazines we can find over there. In class there will be access for projector. But most of the time they use the Ohp.

Admission

I had an interview. The admission process was not so difficult for me as they were satisfied with my marks taken in 12th. But they urged me to pay the fees immediately if it was not paid within that day the seat would not be provided.

Placement Experience:

in the 6th semester the students are eligiblr for the campus placements and around 99.9% students get there spacment from this college and my plants after getting the degree work as a chef in a hotel for 6 to 10 years and after that i want to start my on multy cusin resturent

From 6 th semester students are eligible for campus placement can go to training and as well as after finishing training getting job from the same hotel or also or other hotel want to join college will arrange it and top rating hotel like taj , marriot l, Itc and hilton branded hotel they will arrange placement. Accounting to student academic, attendance and attitude. Placement Highest package is 3lpa to 20 lpa both india and global level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Placement Experience:

Why stella is my second home

My first choice was wcc thinking it would be a non strict college but i didn't get in but got admitted in stella maris college. Honestly i'm very happy with my destiny as it turned to be the best thing happened in my life. The entire 3 years in this college was wonderful.
