Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choose is Environmental Engineering. We all the current issues we are facing today which are climate change, water, and air pollution. In my opinion my future, there will be more scope in solving the environmental crises. My field is completely related to piratical work and there is more practical learning. There are many initiates taken by the university such as a continuous ambient Air quality monitoring system that has been set up which have been monitor by the student to check the daily air quality on the campus.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they have a good network, the student is allowed to choose any company but some student chooses the company on their own approach.
Placement Experience
There is a 100 percent placement. The major companies that come to recruitment are LG, Amway, Vodafone, TATA, Nokia, HSBC, etc.
College Events
There are many inter-college events and competitions are organized in the university which are Sangathan (sports event), innovation day and Spardha (dance event). The authorities are coordinators or mentors for the student who are working in the organizing committee.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is high as compare to other institutes, The fee for the master program at Amity University is Rs 70,000 per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is given to certain conditions. The criteria for the scholarship are different for the regular student and the student having the one year gap.
Hostel Facilities
I am living in a hostel. There are two beds in a room. There no single room and also they do not have PGs. The hostel fee of Non AC is around Rs. 65,000 per year which not includes the food.
Alumni/Alumna
The university having an alumni portal where the student can easily access to the alumni network for interaction and guidance.
Faculty
Most of the faculty at the university are researchers (Ph.D.) who are working in their respective fields. The minimum qualification the faculties are Postgraduates from NIT and IIT.
