Course Curriculum Overview

The 2012 aeronautical batch (2016 pass out) at RIET was the first batch of the steam under The University Of Kerala to which my college is affiliated to. But even so, the course curriculum was at par with the curriculum followed for the same stream under a different University.

Internships Opportunities

Sadly there were no internship programs that were offered to the students by the college and hence the question of 'average stipend amount' does not even arise.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees that were to be remitted was a government approved fees for private self-financing colleges that amounts to INR 75,000, per year, Including tuition fees and additional fees such as lab fees, library fees, etc.

Faculty

The faculty at RIET are perfectly qualified individuals who are very interactive and understanding. They possess adequate knowledge of their respective fields.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Remarks:

If one is expecting a top notch or atleast medium level college life and campus experience, this is not the place for you. Teachers and faculties will treat you like little kids, discouraging you from everything but studies. You will never find a mental balance if you are one of the above. If all you care is a place to study and have a degree in peace, then this is the right place for you. It have a beautiful ambience of nature. Since its study only you are after, the entire college from teachers to director will support you to any extend.

My review about RIET

I gave three options during my optional registration process. First is my current college and other is vkct and govt college attingal. But the first allotment I got admission at my current college so I took here as because of good reviews and food facilities. I enquired about the other colleges in my locality and my neighbouring places I got very good reviews. I think this college has more development and provides more intership programs IVs and more companies for placements comparing with other colleges. Our college supports startups and gave financial support for startups if needed But this is not in other colleges This is why I chose this college for my BTech degree.
