Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of course planning everything is well organised and all the courses were accommodated in respective years correctly. First year all the branches will be having same courses from second year onwards core subjects will be introduced.Every course have specific outcomes from which we can apply those outcomes in real life.Labs also give practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Placements every season will be quite good.In fact among all the NITS our NIT is top in placements.But this year due to recession placement number has been doppped significantly.Only 60 percent people had been placed. Highest package was around 88LPA.Average was around 12 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was 62500 per semester for general candidates without any reservation. At the startimg of every semester they will 10000 extra fee which is mandafor every one to pay. Apart from this students are divided in to three income categories Above 5 lakhs full fee 1-5 lakhs 20833 Below 1 lakh full tution wavier. Merit scholarship also provided for students who excel in academics
Campus Life
The college also focussee on all round development apart from the studies.There are many clubs and associations where students can perform extra curricular activities as there choice. We will be also having two fests one is tecnozion and other is spring spree which are conducted completely by students
Hostel Facilities
So hostels are different for different year.In my case im a funal year and final years are accomdated in 1k hostel. Hostel fee was 17000 per semester.Despise paying so much money the mainataince of the hostel was not so good. Mess charges are 115 per day and food is not so good
Admission
The application process was completely online.Firstly we have to give JEE examination to get into college.JEE is conducted by NTA After getting required rank we have to select seat in JOSAA counselling where we get the seat according to the cutoff.After jossa a special rpund CSAB will also be there for the admission process. There will be two attempts of JEE in January and April.We also have reservation based on our caste.
