Course Curriculum Overview

Our batch (2022-26) batch follows the 2019 scheme of btech (ktu university) . The university has tried to comprehend subjects that enhance our deep thinking and comprehensive skills but I personally feel that it lacks new edge current technologies that is really crucial in today's world.

Placement Experience

The students from the 7th semester usually get qualified for the campus placements though our placement training programs start right from our 1st semester. Many mnc like (focusing on my branch) tcs, usd, erasmith,etc have visited for the campus placements. But being a private self financing college , there has been only a considerate amount of companies visiting our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fee structure is like Rs 75,000 as yearly tuition fees and also there is additional fee like sports fee, tech fest, exam registration, etc. At the time of admission, the college also asks for Rs. 1,00,000 as deposit that would returned after completion of the course. The college provides a waiver of 35,000rs for CSE branch if you have a rank below 5000 in KEAM exam.

Campus Life

The college actually works on the motive "freedom with responsibility " . It actually pushes the student community to develop them in hosting numerous events almost everyday whether it is small or grant. The main events include concerts and dj parties that is a blast like the techlectics (tech fest - hosted every two years in Feb -Mar) , mech fest (hosted every year around Nov) , qubit (Nov) , prisma(april) and numerous sports events like civilians cup, electrical cup , sports day, etc and also the arts fest hosted every year.

Admission

The admission criteria for my college admission was the KEAM entrance rank as well as the 12th board results. I got the merit seat which was reserved by government for my course but one thing that I found strange was that a student in merit seat as well as a student who got through management seat , with actually kind of had the same fee structure . There are some seats reserved for christian minority, NRI qouta, Muslim minority, etc.

Honest Review on NIT Puducherry

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent. I can't tell it totally bad or very good. From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Placement statistics for 2023-2024 were like this, around 40 companies visited to our college some are names as ABB, Ford, Genpact, Kaleyra, Nvidia, Unacademy, TCS, Tesco, etc. Highest package was offered at 22 lakh per annum by Nvidia. And average package was around 7 to 8 lakh per annum. The percentage of students who got placed was 74%. My plans after getting degree is to get placed and do a job.

The campus interview is useful to all students. Intelligent and hardworking students only placed the campus interview. The 75 % above students only get the placement. I get the degree after my plan is I open my own software company.
