Course Curriculum Overview
Actually some of relatives work in the IT field so I spoke with them, mostly they recommended that ai is trending and choose one with speciality. So I chose AI &DS. The whole is branch is fine but you gotta seek them professors for more knowledge or assistance in whatever you do. You have to take the step. The exams are fine to handle if you pay attention to classes . The faculty are coordinating if you have some issues.
Internships Opportunities
The college actually notifies about many internships when you enter into your second year and if u start working on developing your skills and work on small projects it's easier to grab them. It's important to stand out. We even get internships like Google:WE, NXP etc. But it heavily depends on the work you do.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year the students are eligible for the campus placements. The placements in the college are just fine. And if you work hard and smart enough, it's easy to get a placement. Majority of the students get placed most of the time. And after the placement it's up to you.
Fees and Financial Aid
What I pay for tution is 70000 because I joined through Eamcet and my hostel fee is 87000. The hostel fee varies depending on the hostel and facilities. I don't have any scholarship so I pay my own fees
Campus Life
We have nearly 27 clubs and 3 chapters. The sports club is very active and engaging. We also have indoor games. There are plenty of opportunities to cultivate your interests.. About the fests,the college doesn't conduct many fests but will allow us to attend any fest in other colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are decent. There attached bathrooms and common bathrooms depending on the hostel. The meals are okay. We can also live in PGs, but I'm fine here in the clg hostels. And also they are constructing more buildings to accommodate more students
Admission
So, I have secured my seat in AI & DS in Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram by first taking an Eamcet exam after my 12th. To be honest my rank was kinda big , it's 35k so I got this in second counseling. We'll, the admission process is kinda smooth only thing that you have to work is while choosing your colleges/unis and set ur priorities in both clg and branch in the Eamcet counseling portal. Due to my caste, I had a bit advantage with the cutoff. And yeah they will assign you the hostel and a room the day you join itself so that makes the most of it.
