Course Curriculum Overview

4

This is an Ivy League pattern of education where all the courses and the degree is entirely designed and managed by the student. The faculty are majorly from Ivy League universities around the globe and are all PhDs

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Big 4 companies come in to offer internships. McKinsey, Boston Group, Bain etc., apart from well-funded startups with a socially responsible vision. Stiphend approx: 10 - 15k I personally have not opted for internships through Ashoka so I would not be able to comment on the details of the projectspoojitha

Placement Experience

2

From the start of the course, students keep getting internship opportunities through the Career cell of the University. With no restrictions on timeline, suitable companies come in for campus recruiting based on interest and availability and students can choose to get placed anytime based on convenience and requirement. The university prepares a student for the real world and to always stand out in the crowd, hence campus placement patterns are flexible and not rigid. I personally chose to get placed off campus for my first work opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is run by philanthropists, the fee will be around 8 LPA, and up to 100% scholarship is possible based on the case. There are no on-campus jobs for students, but post graduation on-campus jobs with a good package are eligible

Campus Life

4.5

It's a residential campus where all students compulsorily reside on campus and experience the Ivy type education. There are several societies and clubs on campus and students have the liberty to create new clubs with the support of the administration to create infrastructure for the same. There are different centers on campus where real-time research goes on and students can choose to take part. It's a 100 + acre campus with large sports fields, swimming pool, and indoor sports

Hostel Facilities

4

Residential campus, fully automated air conditioning everywhere, and security systems. 2 sharing in a room, very conducive for the campus life. Very luxurious meals are provided at the mess 4 times a day. The hostels have a well-designed cozy dormitory, a game area, and a TV lounge. Well-ventilated and accommodates privacy

Admission

Completion of +2 is mandatory, and a basic aptitude MCQ with logic, reasoning, math, language etc., needs to be taken. An SOP, and submission of a 306-degree portfolio of extracurriculars and achievements need to be submitted, the application form is found on the University website. Following a shortlist, a personal interview is conducted with major stakeholders and an intimation of selection/rejection is shared over email.

The overall review is that its good but its isolated from the city and lies in the rural village of Haryana which essentially has nothing to offer much around. Students go to theka to buy cheap alcohol. The outside environment is conservative but inside they pretend to be liberals
