The course curriculum is actually good. My elective subject was Biotechnology which actually helped me to develop interest in biosciences. There are practicals daily and the experiments are performed under guidance of faculty. laboratory is well equiped.

Placement cell works well in the college. Many MNC's come to college for recruitment and also the placement cell provides training and coaching from time to time for overall personality development of students. They also train students for Govt. competitive exams like SSC, IAS, IPS, etc.

Its a girls college. But there are many different activities performed. Many societis are present in college like Environment, Gender equity, Literature society etc. All societies conduct different activities and competitions. Students highly take part in them.

The hostel is not very good. It had only fans and not any cooler or A.C. facility. Rooms are also very small. However mess of hostel is good.Very hygenic and tasty food is provided to students. Also there are wing incharges, block incharges and hostel incharges made by voting.

Exam structure is a formal and well organised. In complete degree of BSC you will have semester based examination i.e. 6 sememesters total. Each semester has internal examination i.e. mid terms and then final examination conducted by PU. Each semester has 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical which includes VIVA and practical examination.

The admission is centralised for all government colleges in Chandigarh. The advertisement is released in May end. The admission form is to be filled on dhechd.org.in and in June they release merit list. According to merit list, seats are alloted in central counselling.

The faculty of college is well experienced and qualified. The Head of Departments are very generous towards students. Individual attention is given towards weak students. Faculty also use projectors for digital learning. Very cooperative and understanding faculty.
