Campus size is very small and there are not many things to do in your free time
Hostel facilities is not available for everyone and also the room size is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum og PGDM is designed very thoroughly and in 1st year we get to learn basics of all the specialization and in 2nd year we can opt for our preferred courses for major and minor. Faculty quality is very impressive in IMI and most of the faculties have completed Phd from reputed institutes

Internships Opportunities

Many internship opportunities are available in the college and the stipend ranges upto 1.2 lakh per month. Roles are offered in sales, marketing, finance and HR domain. Internships provides students great corporate exposure and is very benefecial specially for freshers.

Placement Experience

From 4th trimester companies starts coming to the college for placements. Approx 70+ companies comes to the campus. Highest package for 2024 batch stood around 42 lakhs and minimum is about 8 lakhs. 100% students gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure in IMI new delhi includes overall fee payment of 19.25 lakhs for two years. This year fee has hiked to approx 21 lakhs. Hostel fees is approx 2.5 - 3.5 lakhs per year. There are various scholarship and financial assistance are provided in the college.

Campus Life

IMI New Delhi is completey student driven college and there are various clubs, committees & societies. Library facility is quite good and one will get most of the good newspapers. magzines and books in the library

Admission

Admission Process of IMI, New Delhi consists of having minimum 50% in your undergrad & the undergrad must entail to the minimum of 3 years education after completing 12th class. I took CAT exam for getting selected in IMI. Application process consists of filling application form and the cutoff is around 80-85 percentile for IMI

Interview Experience

Yes, there are Group discussions, Interview taken at the time of admission process. There is also an extempore round in the interview process. One can prepared for this process by focussing on current affairs.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
