- Cleanliness is not maintained properly and any cleanliness imperfections need to be corrected by the students there and no persons were appointed to take care of cleanliness
- Higher fees and sudden hikes in fees without prior notice
- No amenities for co curricular and extra curricular activities
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.com since i was interested in commerce and accountancy field There would be atleast 4:70 teacher student ratio in the college Faculty members are mostly people with doctorate and well qualified There will be semester exams during November and April and in between we would have Mid semester and modela exams to prepare us for the semester exams. In case of madras University, exams are conducted as per University regulations
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester (6 semester for B.Com) However, there are only few and small companies are recruiting from this college unless there is an intervention from students commitee The highest package offered there is 4.5 LPA but there are many more companies which only provides a small package brings down the average to 3 LPA College and the students committee try harder to get the maximum students placed. In 2022 around 400 students were selected out of 520 students applied for campus placements I have decided to go for a corporate job to be financially independent and pursuing CMA right now with my job
Fees and Financial Aid
fees are little bit on the higher side considering the quality of education and other amenities provided. Also, sudden increase in fees without prior announcement marks a disadvantage Since I am a BC student, there are very few scholarships available for us which are based on the economic status of the students
Campus Life
Annual fests would be conducted in the name of NAVRAS library is vast with huge number of books but they are not updated classrooms could have been well constructed with proper ventilation. Lack of ventilation and unclean corridors might be a room for infections and diseases
Admission
No reservations. Only based on cut off preferably from 80%. No online application forms. Only available offline No reservation benefits but many scholarships available after admission for SCs and STs Online admissions can be encouraged
