Likes

Crowd of the college is very good and rules are very strict.
Infrastructure is good and campus size is also decent.
Safe and security in the college is very good both male and female guards are available.

Dislikes

Placements are not that high as it is just decent.
Campis is not big it is just decent size.

. I choose this course because of my interest in management studies. . Number of faculty is good and college is not so much crowded. . Few faculties are phd holder and few are assistant professors. . Difficulty of term exams is moderate you can easily pass if you study 3-4 days before exam.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester you will be eligible for placements. Companies like L&T, Tech Mahindra, Motilal oswal visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package was 8 lpa and average package is 3lpa. 50-60% students gets placed in the college. After getting the degree i m planning for startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very low as it is 27,860 for 1st year and for second year it may increase upto 30 thousands. As for now i dont know about scholarships in detail but there are some scholarships for Maharashtra students.

Campus Life

They conduct a fest named as UBUNTU in summers. We have a decent size library and availability of books is also good. We have few smartclassroom but not all classrooms are smart other are just normal. The college is not that good in extra curricular activities. There are only few clubs available in the college For activities like theathre and dancing .

Admission

Eligibility criteria for the admission 65% depend on the seat availability. You can find the application form on the mumbai university website. Reservations are there for the Maharashtra based students and they get admission with less percentage in 12th.

Placement Experience:

WWI has a Placement Cells that keeps a track on opportunities for students. There is a mandatory internship that students need to complete after completion of sem 4 before sem 5 is commenced. Students can also get internships in the winter break during sem5. There are various live projects that students can work on depending on their interests and experience during the academic year. My Experience and Views of Patkar-Varde College

I applied to DG Ruparel but did not get in due to the cut-off being higher there as they only offer 30 seats. I applied to Patkar because the exam structure makes it a holistic application-based course. However, in other colleges 100 marks written exams are compulsory. Assignments and the add-on extra credit courses in Patkar really honed me for the professional world. For Patkar my admission process was straightforward.
