The course curriculum was perfect for the college environment and the faculty members are highly qualified lecturers.In my total course curriculum I like only engineering drawing course that is teach by our athira madam .

The fee structure is actually based on caste reservation and opportunity of scholarship in this college was good.the name of scholarship in this is NSP.The nsp scholarship was given by government through the college.

Campus Life

The college was very nice and the clubs are very good and there will be well planned fests inside the college.The infrastructure of this college was very modern and too much Greenery and good . overall this college was very good

Admission

For taking admission in Indian institute of technology Palakkad,I written a exam named JEE ADVANCED entrance exam .So I cleared that exam and taken admission in IIT Palakkad.After getting seat in this college they conducted a course registration and completed the admission.

Interview Experience

For admission in this college I taken an admission test named called JEE ADVANCED entrance exam which is conducted all over in India.The JEE ADVANCED entrance exam was the 2nd toughest exam in the world.

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
