Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is well-managed.Each semester is break down into 6 segments.Amd our faculty members are also very supportive.Apart from it we have regular fests and sessions to skilled up ourselves.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 285600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Most of the tycoons came here to give internship in every field like webdev, software development, financial analyst, industrial management and yeah research. In research this year a student get 10 lakh per month as an internship.

Placement Experience

Our campus placements is good.The highest package for last year is 68 lpa with the median of 22 lpa and average 18 lpa.The placement is about 99% or more. I think most of the big companies like Google, Microsoft,etc are come here to give offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am general I have to pay 100000 RS per semester as tuition fee and my overall fees of 1 semester is 144800 Rs. But for sc/st students tution fee is 0 rs. They provide educational loans at low interest. Also the campus jobs is good it is around 29lpa average for our branch.

Campus Life

Life in the campus is amazing. You have many things to explore. There are many clubs in the campus like ecell,kludge (hacking),lambda (software dev),infero(cp),and many more. Apart from it our biggest cultural fest is elan n vision.

Hostel Facilities

Everything is amazing. They provided single rooms to every students except freshers.For freshers or 1st year students they have double sharing rooms. Mess food is also good. We have amazing meal everyday.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Admission process for IIT's is based on your rank in jee advanced exam.For general this year cutoff marks is around 86 and 19 in each subject.where as for sc/sts these marks reduced to 43 and 9 marks.

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF IITHYDERABAD

I appiled for vit and emcept but main goal to join iit, no i dint get rejection in any colleges i got admission in every college but i didnt choose because of my dream college. In iits we get very good and merit people and we get more free time and time to study ourself and learn things by ourself. We have a lot fests at least for a month we enjoy a lot and we have a lot of resouces to get knowledge and good faculity. The only one eligiblity for our college is to write jee advancee and mains . First for mains more than 14 lakhs people write and in that 14 lakhs 2to 3 lakh people slected for advance. And 23 k people will select fot advance the cutoff will be like we should get 95% above for mains but we dont know for advance they change for every year.
